Jennifer Cunningham Beeler, Partner

Jennifer Cunningham Beeler is a partner with Wayne and Jemilo. Her practice in the area of family law combines aggressive representation with skilled negotiation to create optimal outcomes for her clients. Ms. Beeler possesses more than a decade of experience in working with clients with high net worth, complex estate plans, and family businesses. But she also understands that working spouses with pensions, a home, and savings accounts need the same attention to detail in the dissolution of their marriage.

Recognizing that not every case has to be litigated, Ms. Beeler holds a certificate from DePaul University’s Center for Dispute Resolution in family and divorce mediation, is a court-approved financial mediator in Cook County, and is a financial and custodial mediator in Lake County. She is able to guide the parties through the mediation process to reduce conflict and preserve assets, and result in a more amicable resolution to a contentious divorce process.

Ms. Beeler serves as a child representative and guardian ad litem for custodial cases and is sought after in matters involving custodial disputes, development of parenting schedules, and enforcement of child support, college education expenses and visitation compliance.

An active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and of the Lake County Bar Association, Ms. Beeler is a frequent speaker and author of articles on critical topics in family law. Outside of the courtroom, she has been active in many community endeavors including school boards, park district initiatives, and charitable organizations.
